Getting to L'Oxalis from Avignon, Nîmes or Uzès

Collias is a small medieval village tucked into the Gardon Gorges, halfway between Uzès and the Pont du Gard. Here's how to reach us from the region's main arrival points.

From Uzès (12 km · 15 min)

The easiest. Take the D981 toward Pont du Gard / Avignon, then turn right onto the D112 toward Collias at Pouzilhac. The road winds down into the village.

From Avignon (35 km · 35 min)

Leave Avignon on the N100 toward Nîmes, cross the bridge, and take the Remoulins / Pont du Gard exit. In Remoulins, follow the D981 toward Uzès, then the D112 to Collias on your right.

From Nîmes (28 km · 30 min)

A9 motorway, exit 23 Remoulins, then follow signs to Pont du Gard on the D986L. In Remoulins, take the D981 toward Uzès, then the D112 to Collias.

From Avignon TGV station

The restaurant isn't reachable by public transport from the station. Plan 30 minutes by car or a taxi (~ €60-70). For car-free visitors, we suggest pairing dinner with a night at a village guesthouse or a hotel in Uzès, which is reachable by bus from Avignon.

Arriving in Collias

The restaurant is at 35 Grand Rue, in the heart of the old village. The streets are narrow — don't try to park right at the door. Three car parks within walking distance:

  • Chemin du Barry (≈ 2 min) — the Chef's pick. Free.
  • Rue de la Combe (≈ 2 min) — a few free spaces at the start of the street.
  • Place du Marché (≈ 4 min) — backup option, free between 12pm and 2pm.

Full directions with GPS coordinates and direct Google Maps links are on our contact page.

Seasonal tip

In summer (July-August), Collias is busy with visitors to the Gardon Gorges and fills up by 10am. For weekend lunch, arrive 15 minutes early for parking. For dinner, no concern — most day visitors are gone by 7pm.

See you soon.
